Trainings:

I am passionate about supporting the people who support others. Therapists, teachers, healthcare providers, and public service employees work every day in service of other people. I love teaching, listening to, and caring for them, so that they can continue to care for others in a sustainable way.

I provide professional development trainings, individual consultation, and group processing/support on burnout prevention and sustainability in support and caring professions. I individualize my approach to what each person or team needs, but this typically includes a combination of teaching about the nervous system and mind/body connection, redefining self-care, discussing how to stay regulated in a dysregulated environment, vicarious trauma, and managing burnout.

I enjoy taking complex psychological research that other people have done, explaining it in a way that people can connect with, and working collaboratively to figure out how it applies to each individual person. I draw from the work of Gabor Maté, Dan Siegel, Lisa Dion, Internal Family Systems therapy, Resmaa Menakem, Bruce Perry, Bessel van der Kolk, Emily and Amelia Nagoski, and many more.
