People come to therapy seeking different things. Some people want information, education, a set plan, homework, and specific strategies to use. Others want to take time to settle in first, with the details and ideas emerging as we go. Some people want to explore their past, or attachment and relationship patterns, and some want to focus only on the issue at hand. My work encompasses all of the above, and I believe that safety and consent in a therapeutic relationship are of utmost importance. I give guidance, but you decide what we explore, and how we get there.
